Don’t give up Lois. Sorry your cat lost its bib but it’s usually the collar that gives way and releases. We’re trialling a new style safety collar from Canada which we think may work better and reduce lost bibs. Bells are only 25% to 40% effective,similar to electronic collar alarms and not too good when compared to the CatBib’s 85%. Cats soon learn to move gently to stop the bells etc. making a sound.

I'm a wanna be surfer in a surfing family, so the boys will love this. From Durban myself originally. I appreciate Shaun's take on 'what is' and not 'what if'. So many of us live our lives in the 'what if' space, spending so much energy on what will never come to pass. I actually found myself doing it last night with our old house, I was doing renovations in my minad and I no longer own the property! That's a waste of what if time and there's a blog in there somewhere, I'm sure,

Hi Lois, my name is Vera, I worked with Brenton at Vale and he always talked about your writing, so I read your book about starting a life in Australia... it's great. I enjoyed your writing a lot. I experienced similar situations as the ones you described and funny enough, I was amazed to see how my country - Brazil - is not so different from South Africa ...
